If you love the beach, having an Ocean Place Wedding is a great place especially if you have a lot of guests! This was a perfect wedding venue for Adam and Gabriella, they love the beach and they had tons of guests! They were surrounded by lots of love on their NJ wedding day.
Their Story…
So, their story is quite unique! Adam and Gabriella first met when she visited a church in Freehold that he happened to be worshipping at. The church was St Robert Bellarmine and Gabriella was speaking about Domestic Church Media. She works for a Catholic Radio station. After hearing her speak he prayed and thought- “I would love to get to know her better! “ A few months later they reconnected at a church gathering and Gabriella invited him to her and her friend’s Bible Study group. They started seeing each other regularly at this Bible Study.
After being friends for a while and Gabriella, being invited to a wedding with a plus one, invited Adam to come with her! It was what kicked off their transition from friendship to dating. They dated for six months, then got engaged!!! They had a nine month engagement.
They love to pray, spend time with their families and friends, go to the beach, read together, go hiking, and dancing! They have been to many weddings together and were happy when it was their turn this past September.
The Proposal…
Adam brought Gabriella to the fourth oldest church in the USA. It was on his birthday, December 12th and for my birthday she bought him tickets to see the Christmas play at the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster, PA. Before going to the show they went to Mass. He waited for everyone to leave the church after Mass, and then I brought Gabriella in front of the tabernacle. I knelt down on one knee and said, “ Gabriella, a knight goes down on one knee before a king to show honor and respect for the king, a soldier in battle goes down on one knee as a sign of surrender to the other army. So I surrender my bachelorhood for married life with you. And when we enter the church we genuflect to recognize the divine life in the tabernacle and I get down on one knee to recognize the life that will one day be present in your womb God willing. Gabriella will you marry me?” She said yes lifted up his face and they were engaged!
Their wedding day…
Gabriella had an amazing time getting ready at her parent’s house in Farmingdale, NJ. Yay, so close to me! She was stunning in her Oleg Cassini Dress. Her make-up was done by Cosmetics by Catelli which was so soft and subtle and her so pretty wedding bouquet was from Sam’s Club. Adam was also surrounded by his family and friends as he got ready and donned his Tux. He also did his getting really in Farmingdale. So, they saw each other for the first time at their church Co-Cathdral of St. Robert Bellarmine in Freehold, NJ. They had a beautiful Catholic Mass followed by some family photos at the church. They then headed for portrait time at Seventh Presidents Park just minutes from their venue. The sky was so amazing that day! It was filled with so many beautiful clouds! After our amazing time taking photos we headed to the Ocean Place resort and Spa for the celebrations. Their intros, dances and speaches went off without a hitch. At one point Gabriella’s boss sang some Frank Sinatra for the guests. There was lots of dancing, talking with their beloved family and guests and great food! All in all perfect day! It was such a blessing spending the day with Adam and Gabriella and their families. Sending them many blessings from above from their like minded friend!
