My name is Jessica Halas, and I am the owner and lead photographer of Living Stones Photography, a Monmouth County Wedding and Event photographer proudly serving Monmouth County, NJ and the surrounding tri-state area. I have a deep love for photographing the beauty that God has created and capturing meaningful moments through timeless, heartfelt imagery.

My photography journey began in my teenage years with a film camera, where I first discovered my passion for storytelling through photographs. I went on to take photography classes at Ocean County College, building a strong foundation in traditional film photography. In 1995, I had the opportunity to photograph for the U.S. Navy in Rota, Spain, an experience that expanded my technical skills, creativity, and appreciation for documenting real, unscripted moments.

In 2001, I transitioned to digital photography and embraced the ability to capture images efficiently while refining them through careful editing using Photoshop and Lightroom. This blend of classic training and modern techniques continues to influence my photography style today.

I founded Living Stones Photography in 2011, and the business has been growing and thriving ever since. My primary focus is wedding photography, family portrait photography, and event photography. I work extensively throughout Monmouth County, New Jersey, as well as across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York, and I am also available for destination weddings and events.

What I love most about my work is building genuine relationships with my clients and creating a photography experience that feels personal, relaxed, and meaningful. It is an honor to document weddings, family milestones, and special events, and I am grateful to serve others by capturing memories that will be cherished for generations.
