Hamilton Manor Wedding
Rustic Hamilton Wedding
Kurt and Maggy’s Hamilton Manor Wedding in Hamilton, NJ was surely one NJ Wedding to remember! So why was their wedding so remarkable? For starters, it was a beautiful fall day where the sun was in and out of the puffy white clouds. Then, they had an awesome Coptic Orthodox Ceremony. During the wedding reception, they had belly dancer! And to top it off The Hamilton Manor has some killer rustic photo spots.
Prep…
Both the bride and the groom did their wedding preparations at the Holiday Inn Express in Bordentown, NJ. Maggy looked so beautiful in her Blue by Enzoani dress and Kurt so handsome in his Calvin Klein tux. The bridal party rocked their maroon dresses by Lulus and guys wore their tuxes and maroon accents with perfect style.
Ceremony…
Kurt saw his bride for the first time at their Coptic Orthodox Ceremony which took place at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church, Let me tell you how amazingly beautiful this ceremony was! The priests wore ornate gowns, the church was stunning and they actually crowned the bride and the groom during the ceremony! The bride and groom also wore these beautiful capes. Another interesting fact is that kissing is not allowed in the church, so the couple took their first kiss on the front steps of the church surrounded by their bridal party, family and lots of bubbles.
Portraits…
We then headed to the venue The Hamilton Manor in Hamilton, NJ. I know I told you this, but the Hamilton Manor has awesome photo spots. We did some family portraits and bridal party portraits in front of the doors of the barn, we also did some with one of the awesome rustic trucks and some bride and groom portraits in front of the cool lights. We did a lot in a short time because the sun was going down and it was absolutely freezing out! Everyone was so cooperative and the bride was such a trooper!
Reception…
Intros are super fun at the Hamilton Manor. The bridal party enters from the doors on the ballroom floor and the bride and groom enter from the grand staircase! It’s so pretty! Kurt and Maggy had a beautiful first dance, speeches were fun and heartfelt, but the most memorable part of the night was the belly dancer! She did a few dances alone and then danced with the bride and the groom and the bridal party. The bride’s father even got up and danced and threw money for the belly dancer! So much fun! The crowd was so into it and really got into the dancing.
At the end of the night we took the couple out for a few more portraits in the barn. What a great spot! I can’t wait to photograph another wedding there! K&M it was such a pleasure being a part of your day and recording all of your moments. I wish you both a beautiful marriage filled with all the things you hope for.
